Habitats series

I painted 11 watercolours and 2 oils during my 6-week stay at the Bruny Island Quarantine Station.

The abundant wildlife and stunning land- and seascapes I saw on Bruny Island provided lots of inspiration.

I donated the 2 oils to the Friends of Bruny Island Quarantine Station to help raise funds for their work in presenting the history of the station to the public.

The watercolours represent an expansion of my Wetlands and Heath series, which I’ve called Habitats. I’m now working on 4 Habitats: Heath, Shore, Wetlands and Woodlands.
